On June 15, Flock Drone Art held the first drone show in the city of Barcelona.
Within the framework of the ISEA 2022 Electronic Arts Symposium held in the city of Barcelona, Flock Drone Art has held a show with drones on Somorrostro beach, next to Barceloneta. A set of 100 drones have illuminated the sky with figures more than 100 meters wide.
This year's festival was organized by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and more than 350 artists and various installations spread across different parts of the city participated. An innovative festival with global relevance in the Electronic Arts sector.
Flock Drone Art has presented a show called ECO where a hundred drones combined with a soundtrack want to coordinate to give a clear message to the entire public: The earth is a treasure, take care of it.
ECO is a luminous allegory of nature, a cry for respect for the environment that wants to highlight environmental awareness and the need to preserve the world in which we live.
Using 100 drones, Flock Drone Art has created a piece of lighting and technological art that, combined with a bespoke soundtrack and voice-over narrative, takes the viewer on a magical journey through the natural wonders of planet Earth.
This drone show shows a choreography of 100 drones to the rhythm of music and sound effects forming figures up to 100 meters wide and visible from 1 km away.
Whales, ancient trees, bees, legendary birds, giant flowers, in short, Flock represents all the biodiversity of the Earth through this show where it ends up sending an important message: The Earth is unique, take care of it!
In this project we have collaborated with the composer Zésar from the Zinkman Studio who has created a soundtrack that has not left anyone indifferent and with the colleagues from ATD Audiovisuales who have created a lighting scenography coordinated with the music that has been spectacular to see.
