The Jaén City Council, through the Board of Culture, Tourism, Festivals and Historical Heritage, offered a "unique and very special" end to the party San Lucas Fair 2024 with a large-format drone show that was held this Sunday, at 9:30 p.m., from the Alfonso Sánchez Herrera fairgrounds, under the name Geometrics, made up of 300 drones in charge of Flock Drone Art, a leading company in the use of drones in mass events.
This show also paid special attention to the celebration of the 1,200th anniversary of the capital of Jaén, according to a note from the City Council, which added that the thousands of residents of Jaén and visitors gathered at the fair had the opportunity to enjoy an innovative visual spectacle that illuminated the sky of Jaén. It was an avant-garde proposal that recalled the magic of pyrotechnics, but with the update of the new technologies of the aerial lights of the 300 drones that flew over the sky of the capital of Jaén.
Flock Drone Art thus offered an innovative experience in the world of entertainment, lighting and communication. This company, over the last year, illuminated the skies of numerous points in Spain and Morocco to celebrate events and parties that brought together hundreds of thousands of people.
In this regard, the City Council recalled that Flock Drone Art participated in the opening show of the 37th America's Cup in Barcelona with different swarms that, added together, made a total of up to 1,000 drones.
In Jaén, the amazing universe of Geometrics offered an avant-garde show with 300 light drones that reached a height of up to 100 metres, in a mystical dance of abstract shapes and figures, where a special nod was also made to the 1,200th anniversary of the capital of Jaén. The show, which lasted about 15 minutes between take-off and landing, was accompanied at all times by an original soundtrack custom-composed for the occasion.
