Flock Drone Art will fly more than 100 drones at Spotify Camp Nou

The Spanish startup's shows will be held on December 27 and 28 within the framework of the Barçaland 2022 program

Barcelona, December 2022.

The Drone Night It will be one of the great attractions of Barçaland 2022, which will feature the startup founded in Barcelona Flock Drone Art, which in just over two years has become one of the leading brands in the field of drone shows.

The company founded by different professionals in the drone sector will fly more than 100 drones on the nights of December 27 and 28 at the FC Barcelona field, the Spotify Camp Nou. The 3,600 tickets for the three daily sessions of the Flock Drone Art shows are already sold out and reflect the interest that these light and color shows arouse among the public at large events. On Sunday, December 18, we offered a show to mark The TV3 Marathon which was broadcast live on television for an average audience of more than 216,000 viewers,” explains Fran Arnau, CEO of Flock Drone Art.

For the Catalan startup, the fact that a global brand like FC Barcelona is committed to innovating with this new format within its stadium also reflects that drones are becoming consolidated as a very important element in the organization of large events. The world of football is one of the sectors that is making the most of this technology, and at the World Cup in Qatar it has been used in several shows. “At Flock Drone Art, in Spain we are leading this global trend,” adds Arnau.

Leisure and culture bet on events with drones

Flock Drone Art is one of the leading companies in the use of drones in shows. In the last two years he has participated flying drones in more than 100 events. This type of shows will be one of the big bets in the field of mass events in the coming years, since more and more public and private institutions demand this service in their events, asking for innovation and updating of the celebrations. .

As Fran Arnau explains, “we are seeing how people are betting on drone shows because of the innovation they represent over other already widely used technologies such as pyrotechnics or mapping”, a trend that will continue to rise in the coming years. Throughout the last summer, Flock Drone Art's hundred drones have illuminated the skies in many parts of Spain to celebrate events and parties, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people. The Catalan company's shows have received international awards and recognition, and it is the organizing company of the Lloret de Mar international drone festival, which this year celebrated its second edition.
