Flock Drone Art, a company formed by a group of Catalan entrepreneurs, will hold the first drone show ever seen in Catalonia and which will premiere on January 3 in Manresa. It can also be seen in Sant Feliu de Guíxols on January 4 and 5 as part of the events surrounding the Three Kings Parade. This is a pioneering project: it is the first Catalan company that designs and carries out shows with drones and is at the forefront of technology by offering light shows with these aircraft, the perfect union between art and technology.
Flock - a word in English that means flock of birds - has about fifty drones that can fly at the same time, although it is already working to expand its fleet to more than 100 aircraft to increase the spectacular nature of the proposals. Flock Drone Art has been working on the development of the business and technological project for two years. With an international vocation, the Catalan company has initiated contacts with companies with the same characteristics from other countries to work together.
The show that will be seen in Manresa will be Christmas-themed, although you can design personalized proposals with figures that are up to 100 meters high and 50 meters wide. Drone shows are based on different techniques to offer pre-programmed choreography with multiple applications and it is worth highlighting their versatility, since all types of logos and figures can be drawn for a wide range of applications: celebrations, tourist promotions, brand promotions, presentations of products…
This proposal is a good alternative to offer events safely in the face of the Covid-19 crisis since they can be seen perfectly from many points and also from a kilometer away. In addition, it is an environmentally friendly practice, since it does not leave waste.
