Thousands of people enjoy the innovative La Mercè drone show with Flock Drone Art

The Catalan company premieres its new show 'Geomètrics', at the Espigón del Gas in Barcelona, in one of the most original proposals in the city's Festival Major programme.

September 24, 2023.- Thousands of people filled the Gas Pier in Barcelona tonight to enjoy the premiere of the 'Geometric' drone show, one of the featured proposals in the programming of the La Mercè festivities in Barcelona, which has opted for technological innovation with this show signed by the Catalan company Flock Drone Art.

The large audience witnessed an unprecedented choreography with spectacular figures drawn in the sky by a swarm of two hundred drones.

The Barcelona Festival has been the setting for the world premiere of this original proposal by Flock Drone Art. To the rhythm of a soundtrack created for the occasion, the two hundred devices have drawn various geometric figures in a dance of transformation of matter full of colors and lights. One of the figures most applauded by the public has been the reproduction in the sky of the popular panot of Barcelona. The figure with the name of the major festival, La Mercè 2023, has also received a warm welcome.

Consolidation of drone shows

With tonight's show, Flock Drone Art closes a record-breaking summer with the celebration of twenty events that have brought together more than 700,000 spectators. The shows have taken place mainly in the skies of Spanish municipalities -Valencia, Marbella, Gijón, Bilbao, Cádiz or Lloret de Mar, among others-, but they have also been seen in cities in Portugal or Andorra, putting the plan in motion. internationalization of the Catalan firm.
