Art, technology and creativity come together in the Drone Show Festival, the first international festival of drone shows, created and produced by Flock Drone Art. This pioneering event, now in its third edition, has revolutionised the way we experience outdoor entertainment, transforming the sky into a canvas full of colour and excitement.
This year, the festival has come to Donostia with a very special edition: the first one dedicated entirely to Christmas! For two magical nights, on 29 and 30 November, the city's skies have been lit up with themed shows that have combined tradition, innovation and excitement.
From the magic of the stars to the Christmas traditions of different cultures, the International Drone Show Festival has offered a unique experience that marks the beginning of the Christmas holidays in style.
Flock Drone Art: Creators and Leaders of the Festival
At the heart of the Drone Show Festival is Flock Drone Art, a Spanish company internationally recognised for its excellence in drone shows. As the creators and organisers of this event, we have worked to bring together the best artists from around the world and offer an experience that combines cutting-edge technology with emotional art.
Our show, Izar Distira – Brillo de estrellas, was in charge of opening the festival. An aerial choreography synchronized with original music, which celebrates the most beloved symbols of Donostia in a tribute to the magic of Christmas.
The international character of the Drone Show Festival has been reflected in the participation of renowned artists such as:
Pyroemotions (Italy): Presenting Un regalo di luce, a show that combines drones and fireworks in a tribute to lights and family at Christmas.
Visual Europe Group (Hungary): With Xmas Show – Christmases of the world, a journey through the Christmas traditions of different cultures, full of iconic characters and visual displays.
