The Drone Show Festival Donostia, the first International Winter Drone Festival

Donostia experienced a magical weekend with the arrival of the Drone Show Festival, a unique event that lit up the sky of La Concha beach in its first edition. On November 29 and 30, the festival offered two additional international shows that brought together more than 100,000 people. 35,000 people in total the two days.

Organized by Flock Drone Art in collaboration with the San Sebastian City Hall and Promotion of San Sebastian, the festival combined art, technology and emotions to create an unforgettable experience. The three international shows transformed the sky of Donostia into a living work of art, consolidating the leadership of Flock Drone Art in the world of drone shows.

The magic began on November 29th with Izar Distira – Starlight, a creation of Flock Drone Art which paid tribute to Donostia's most beloved symbols and the magic of Christmas. With drones perfectly synchronised with original music, the show thrilled the audience and marked the vibrant start of the festival.

On the 30th, two international shows raised the audience experience to another level. From Italy, Pyroemotions presented A gift of light, a fascinating combination of drones and fireworks with a clear nod to family and the Christmas spirit. To close the evening, the Hungarian group Visual Europe Group dazzled with Xmas Show – Christmases of the world, a magical journey through the Christmas traditions of different cultures, full of originality and charm.

With this Christmas themed edition, the Drone Show Festival not only brought light and magic to the city, but also reinforced its position as a world reference in drone shows. Institutional collaboration was key to ensuring the success of this initiative, which connected thousands of people with a unique visual and emotional experience.

Flock Drone Art marked a new milestone, leaving an indelible mark on Donostia and adding this city to the legacy of its festival, which has already visited three different locations. The sky of Donostia shone like never before thanks to the Drone Show Festival, which now generates expectations for future editions and new horizons to conquer.
